The dial is of a silver matte design and consists of Arabic and baton numerals in pink gold. There are outer minute demarcations, a tachymeter scale in black and a telemeter scale in blue and two sub dials registering the seconds and the minutes.

Another unique feature of this vintage watch amongst the rolex replica watches is the round case which deviates from the usual dimensions to be of 44 mm with a back which snaps back on and fluted lugs on the side.

Of course, there were other watch brands which had crossed the one million mark and were setting higher records. The Patek Phillippe watch sold in this auction was one such watch. However, for Rolex watches this was a record high and the overall sales proceeds were up by twenty five percent from last year’s sales figures at Geneva.
